How To Play
Welcome to Sect.com. We're sure you want to get started on your first mission ASAP. Start your journey here to gain some insight on how to carve out a new existence in your fight to save what's left.
We will try to explain what you can do in the sect world and what should be your main focus in our game.
Some of the items can be purchased in the market. Others are only available as a reward for completing a specific mission or some other quests. In the market section, you will only find items of "market" quality.
You'll see that each item has its own statistics. For example, there are items that have only attack or defense bonuses associated with them. Some items have both attack and defense bonuses and are more expensive. High-end items can have many different statistic power-ups on them as well (such as added phy or psy energy, stamina, health points and more).
When you level up, you get 4 skill (stat) points that you can use to boost your standing in any of the above-mentioned skills.
* The required items, such as weapons or pets, already earned, purchased, or looted.
* The required number of sectants to undertake the mission.
* The required levels of physical and/or psychical energy.
As your game progresses, missions can have loot rewards such as one-time use or M1 items. Every time you undertake that mission, there is a different chance for non-market items to drop. You will know which missions have loot rewards as it will be noted in the mission description. You will need these special loot rewards in order to complete other missions.
For each rank, there is a preset amount of missions which must be successfully completed before you can achieve "mastery". Once you have mastered all of the missions in your current rank, you will automatically be promoted.
While you can sometimes undertake missions out of order, you can not advance up a rank if you haven't fully completed all of the prior rank's required missions or levels.
We will be introducing "bosses" for each group of ranks very soon. You will be able to assassinate the bosses and get a chance for a loot box to drop. This will be a daily quest that you'll probably want to try out in order to win some great loot.
The cost of buildings & foundations rise with each purchase. We suggest that you plan your investments wisely for best results.
To add some sectant friends, you can visit your sectants page and see your "invite ID" and "referral link" there. (Your sectants page is accessed by clicking on "View" on the top right-hand corner.) Share your "invite ID" to any other sect world player and they will be able to enter it on their sectant page. After that, you will receive the message "invite to join your sect pending" on your sectants page. Once you accept the invite, you will become sectants of each other.
You can also use your "referral link" and show it to your friends who have not yet joined the sect world so that they can register too. Once they do so, each of you will get a 1,000 coins bonus. Plus the referral source (if it was your link, that means you) will see "pending invitation to join sect" in their sectants screen from the newly recruited player. Easy!
You will need different numbers of sectants available for various missions. It is always good to watch your sect as it grows in time. Level one begins with the ability to invite 5 people to join your sect. There is a limit of 5 new sectants per level. Each time you level up, you can invite a new group of 5 into your sect. Each player can have a maximum of 500 sectants total when they reach level 100.
For example, if you are alone with no sectants and are attacking someone, your attack rating will be the sum of: your best item from weapons, your best item from armor, your best item from upgrades and your best pet + your personal attack/defense skill.
For each additional sectant, one of each of their items will be added to your total attack/defense rating. If you have 3 sectants, that means your attacking rating will be: 4 weapons, 4 armor pieces, 4 upgrades and 4 pets + personal attack/defense skill.
We know it sounds a bit complicated at first, but once you play a few times, you will easily understand it. If not, you can always ask for help in the Forum.
That's pretty much it for now.
Good luck and may the sect gods be with you!
We will try to explain what you can do in the sect world and what should be your main focus in our game.
Items
Playing Sect is all about the items and we have more than 350 of them! To understand how each in-game item stacks up against another, we have included 2 different measures of value.Item Quality
There are 5 different qualities available: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary.Item Type
There are 6 different item types available: Market, M1, M2, M3, Unique and One-time use.
Skills
These are your main characteristics. Your character's specific skills will determine how you will participate in missions, fights, and pretty much everything else. There are 6 different skills available in-game. They include:Attack
The bigger your attack stats, the better chance to win when you fight an opponent.Defense
Same as above, but you are defending this time. Bigger defense stats when being attacked is always better .Health Points
You don't want to run out of health points and die in the middle of the fight. These are good to have so that your character can earn coins & experience points. The red circle next to your Health stat will take you to the hospital where you can pay to have your health restored to 100% - but as in life, it will cost you some coins.Stamina
You can attack opponents as long as you have stamina remaining. Each attack costs 1 stamina.Physical Energy
Without some physical energy, we can't get very much done. You will need it to tackle various missions. Also, some items cannot be purchased unless you have the preset amounts of physical energy required built up in your stats.Psychical Energy
Same as physical energy, but this time you are improving your psychic skills. When you level up, you get 4 skill (stat) points that you can use to boost your standing in any of the above-mentioned skills.
Missions
Missions are your mini quests. To participate in some mission, you might need one or more of the following:* The required items, such as weapons or pets, already earned, purchased, or looted.
Ranks
There are 20 ranks on sect.com, starting from "Private" and ending with "General of the Army". As we already mentioned above, you need to master all of the missions on each level in order to advance your rank.
Income
Every sectant can earn passive income in post-apocalyptic sect world. Investments can be made in land and/or buildings that will bring you revenue every 60 minutes(50 minutes for landlord). For each building type, you will need to have a matching type of foundation already purchased and available. Once the building is placed on its foundation, that item will no longer be in your inventory. The cost of buildings & foundations rise with each purchase. We suggest that you plan your investments wisely for best results.
Sectants
What could you do in the post-nuclear world without friends, especially friends who blindly follow your orders? Any army will grow stronger as its numbers increase. You will also want to become a stronger player with added forces. This is exactly why we included the ability to build up your own personal sect, adding more and more converted minds to it, and enhancing your character's stats. To add some sectant friends, you can visit your sectants page and see your "invite ID" and "referral link" there. (Your sectants page is accessed by clicking on "View" on the top right-hand corner.) Share your "invite ID" to any other sect world player and they will be able to enter it on their sectant page. Easy!

Each player can have a maximum of 500 sectants total when they reach level 100.
Fights
Of course this is one of the primary reasons you are on sect.com. Fights are a vital part of the game as this is how you can quickly win both experience points and coins from other players. When you participate in a fight, 1 item from each of the item categories counts towards your attack rating + your personal attack skill (the points you invested in your attack and/or defense stats in your profile).
