Site credits may be purchased using Paypal. You accept and acknowledge that credits are to be used as virtual currency and have no transferable, cash, or refundable value. Virtual site credits may only be used to purchase various virtual in-game items. Site credits are sold as is and all sales are final. We reserve the right to modify or remove the option to buy credits at any time, at our discretion, without notice or further consideration. By logging in to your account and purchasing sect.com site credits, you are responsible for any fees that PayPal might charge. Neither sect.com nor Funbox, Inc. will be held responsible should credits be purchased using your account without your permission. Should this happen, you will have to pursue relief through PayPal’s system and/or your local law enforcement agency.Account Termination
If you cheat, use any hacks or scripts, violate any of the sect.com rules or violate the Terms or any laws, we reserve the right to terminate or freeze your account(s), or if appropriate in certain circumstances, report you to the police. We further reserve the right to terminate or freeze your account(s) at any time, with our without notice, at our discretion, for any reason or no reason, including if Funbox, Inc. believes that you are under the age of 13.Copyright and Content Policy
Sect respects the intellectual property rights of others, and requests that you do the same. Sect does not permit copyright infringing activities and infringement of intellectual property rights on its Website or in its Forum, and Sect will remove all content if properly notified that such content infringes on another's intellectual property rights. Sect reserves the right to remove content without prior notice. Sect will also terminate a User's access to the Website if they are determined to be a repeat infringer. Sect may remove such content and/or terminate a User's access for uploading such content and/or terminate a User's access for uploading such content in violation of these Terms & Conditions at any time, without prior notice and at its sole discretion. Third party content providers such as PayPal own the copyright in content original to them. The PayPal name and logo are copyrights of PayPal and listed on the site to facilitate the purchase of site credits only. All other such trademarks, trade names, etc. are the property of their respective owners. Various weaponry manufacturer names and/or brands are used on sect.com for fun, descriptive purposes only.
Interactions With Other Players
You will be solely responsible for your conduct and interaction with other Players on all parts of sect.com, including the Forums. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor and/or manage any disputes that might arise between you and another Player. If you should have a dispute with another sect.com Player, you release sect.com and Funbox, Inc. from any claims, damages (actual or consequential), and demands of any nature or kind, known or unknown, arising out of or in any way connected to any such dispute with another Player.Rules of Conduct
While sect.com is a competitive game where we want everyone to enjoy some strategic fun, we must still respect each other as we are each a unique individual and come from a variety of backgrounds, have different ethnicities, religious beliefs, etc. As a Player on sect.com and in our Forums, you agree that the following conduct is prohibited: any offensive usernames or comments that are connected to race, gender, sexual preference, physical or mental handicap, or national origin; usernames or comments including profanity, or any obscene or indecent, pornographic, sexual or otherwise objectionable content or language; comments meant to defame, libel, mock, disparage, ridicule, threaten, harass, intimidate, or abuse another Player or anyone or which promote violence or describe how to perform a violent act; comments which violate the contractual, personal, intellectual property or other rights of any party or which promote or constitute illegal activity. Also, your conduct on sect.com and in our Forums will not reveal any personal information about another Player or individual, including a person’s real name, email address, phone number, address, credit card number or other information that may be used to identify, track, contact, or impersonate that individual. Governing Law, Venue and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy and any applicable rules will be governed and construed in accordance with the internal laws of The Seychelles, irrespective of any principles of conflicts of law. By registering for an account and/or participating in any activities offered on sect.com or in the Forum, you agree that any dispute that cannot be resolved between the parties shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. You further agree that any legal action arising from any dispute shall proceed only in the appropriate courts located in The Seychelles, or as otherwise determined by us, and you hereby submit to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action.Severability
